Melissa’s love for education began early on—thanks to the inspiring stories that her grandma would share from her time as a teacher. Hearing those stories made her want to create some of her own.

Since earning her bachelor’s in elementary education in 2020, she has steadily grown in the field—starting as a teacher’s assistant, then stepping into her first classroom as a long-term substitute, and eventually becoming a full-time 5th grade teacher in San Diego. Over three impactful years, she deepened her passion for personalized learning, which led her to transition from the traditional classroom to focus on small-group and individualized instruction. Her journey reflects a continued commitment to helping students thrive.

She’s so grateful for every experience that’s brought her here, and she can’t wait to meet you and your child. I look forward to being a part of all of my student’s learning journies—just as so many have been a part of mine!
