Natalie spent her college career following her passion for education through tutoring students one-on-one and in small groups at elementary schools, substitute teaching, and student teaching. She taught for a 4th/5th combo class and has substitute taught for a range of classes from UTK-5th grade. She spent her summers as a summer camp counselor, teaching at a summer school for underprivileged, highly motivated middle school students, and playing piano for churches. Natalie has a passion for working with elementary school students and helping them grow in their reading, writing, and math skills. She loves building students’ self-esteem and making them feel valued. She also prioritizes making learning accessible for a variety of students and encourages curiosity while supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
